Our Story

Black Southern California formerly known as Black South Riverside County is a movement built on connection, culture, and community. Our mission is to connect, collaborate, and make a difference — no competition, just community. We exist to unite local Black groups, entrepreneurs, and families under one vision and one purpose: to rise together and create lasting impact. This space was created for us, by us — a sacred community rooted in love, unity, and purpose. Here, we honor family, uplift Black-owned businesses, empower our youth, and celebrate one another in every season of life. We give thanks to our elders who paved the way and honor our ancestors whose strength, resilience, and wisdom guide us forward. Through business mixers, entertainment events, and community gatherings, we provide meaningful opportunities for growth, partnership, and legacy-building. We’re building this village brick by brick — for the youth, the elders, the entrepreneurs, and those seeking a safe, welcoming space to belong. For the ones looking for guidance, resources, and connection — surrounded by others who look like them and understand their journey. Black Southern California is more than a community.
